CSULB's housing options offer students a convenient and supportive living environment. On-campus housing provides students with a sense of community and the opportunity to get involved in campus life. Living on campus can also help students feel more connected to the university and make it easier to access academic and other resources. There are several different housing options available at Long Beach State University. Each option offers a different living experience and caters to different student needs and preferences. Housing Room Rates are structured by three tiers, then by room types, based on buildings and amenities. Please be sure to check out our Room Comparison Chart (PDF) . Step 2 - Begin housing application on the Housing Portal (accessible through your MyCSULB SSO) Application will take 15-20 minutes to complete. Due to high demand, the application portal may not be available on your first attempt. Since applications are based on distance, students can apply any date and time between April 2 and priority date of May 1st. If you are applying before May 1st, the application is not first-come, first serve . If you are experiencing portal issues, try again later.

housing_costs

There are several different housing options available at Long Beach State University. Each option offers a different living experience and caters to different student needs and preferences. Initial Payment ($275) An initial payment of $275 is required to complete the housing application. This is an addition to the $50 non-refundable application fee. Current Residents: Defined as students who are currently residing on campus with University Housing Returning Applicants: Defined as students who have previously been on-campus residents but are not currently in University Housing.
