TJU will provide on campus accommodation for exchange students. The rate is about 60 rmb/night. Both Weijin Road Campus and Peiyang Park Campus of Tianjin University have international student dormitories. The campus allocation for international students is uniformly arranged by the university based on the current year's policies and the location of the campus of the international student's major. International students need to reserve online. If they are unable to reserve accommodation on campus successfully, the university will provide off campus accommodation information for students to choose from. Please pay attention to the internal notifications of Tianjin University International Student Service System for details . The introduction for accommodation can be download below.

Foreigners who need to stay in China after the expiration of residence permits shall apply for an extension 30 days before the expiration. Foreigners who hold a valid residence permit and have changed passports or had other items on the residence permit changed shall apply to the exit and entry administration authority of public security organs for information update within 10 days from the date the changes occur.

在大陆停居留的台湾居民应当按照《中国公民往来台湾地区管理办法》的规定办理住宿登记后申请办理台胞证。

台湾居民在大陆向出入境管理机构申请换发或补发台湾居民来往大陆通行证时，发现其未办理住宿登记。

（一）公安出入境管理机构受理台湾居民来往大陆通行证申请后，符合签发条件的应当在7个工作日内予以签发；

因所在地交通不便或需异地核查材料等特殊情况，不能按期签发的，经省级公安机关出入境管理机构负责人批准，签发时间可以延长至20个工作日。

答：一般情况下，内地公安机关出入境管理机构受理台湾居民来往大陆通行证申请后，会在7个工作日内予以签发；

因所在地交通不便或者需要进一步调查核实等情况，不能按期签发的，经审批机关负责人批准，签发时间可以延长至20个工作日；

台湾居民因探病、奔丧、诉讼、处理紧急商务等事由急于返回台湾的，公安机关出入境管理机构将加急办理。

一般情况下，口岸公安机关出入境管理机构办理台湾居民来往大陆通行证不超过30分钟。

1927年，李书田应北洋大学校长刘仙洲之邀返校任教，讲授土木工程专业的课程，开始了他长达近60年的教育生涯。

李书田重视教学与科研相结合，除了在北洋任教外，还担任华北水利委员会的委员兼秘书长一职。

1930年，李书田到交通大学唐山土木工程学院任院长，到校不及一年就为该校添设了矿冶工程系和研究院，促进了唐山地区的科研事业。

1931年4月，在李书田的努力下，中国水利工程学会得以建立，他任该学会副会长。

1932年9月，李书田任北洋工学院（北洋大学当时的校名）院长。

此后5年间，他为学校发展做了大量卓有成效的工作：学校的工程学馆、工程实验馆、新图书馆相继竣工并投入使用；

学校多种学术期刊蓬勃发展；

重新创作了校歌；

各系增设了近20个实验室，增添了设备；

1935年，学校创办“工科研究所”，开创了研究生培养的先河，使北洋工学院成为国内高校中最早招收研究生的大学之一；

他力促建成了“天津水工实验所”，后改称“中国第一水工实验所”。

1937年2月，李书田制定了《国立北洋大学筹备缘起及分期完成计划》，提出了用16年时间，将北洋大学建设成为工理文法医相结合的综合性一流大学的奋斗目标。
