Cost of Living per Month (in EUR): Approx. 900 EUR

Additional fees: Semester fee, approx. 350 EUR per semester. All regularly enrolled students must pay a nominal "student payment" that covers the Studentenwerk, the Studentenschaft, and the so-called "Semester Ticket" (this semester ticket serves as transportation pass for busses, trains, trams, S-Bahn/Metro, and rental bike service in and around the greater Dresden area and as Deutschlandticket, i.e. for all basic public transport in Germany).
